The objectives of this research were1) to study learning achievement on English reading using Jigsaw ll Cooperative Leaming Technique of grade 12 students in Chongqing Yunyang Panshi Middle School 2) to study satisfaction on English reading using Jigsaw II Cooperative Learning Technique of grade 12 students in Chongqing Yunyang Panshi Middle School. The research design used was one group pre-test and post-test design. The research samples used were Class 5, which were the 12th year students in Chongging Yunyang Panshi Middle School, semester 2 of the academic year 2022. The research instruments included 1) instruction plans for English reading using Jigsaw II Cooperative Learning Technique of grade 12 students, 2) the leaming achievement test of 30 questions, 3) the satisfaction questionnaire consisted 15 items. The statistics used for data analysis were mean, percentage, standard deviation, and t-test. The results of the research were as follows: 1. The post-test score on English reading using Jigsaw II Cooperative Leaming Technique was significantly higher than pre-test with statistical significe at the .05 level and the post-test score on English reading using Jigsaw II Cooperative Learning Technique was significantly higher than 7596 criterion of full score with statical significance at the .05 level. 2. The students were satisfied with Jigsaw II cooperative learning technique at the highest level. |
